Masako Kubo is a Japanese illustrator living and working in New Zealand.
After receiving a non-art related degree and working for an ad agency in Tokyo, she decided to explore the possibility of doing what she loves for a living.
Soon she went to England and studied illustration at Falmouth University
and since then she has been creating art for magazines, books, stationery,
and many other projects.
She currently lives in a semi-countryside suburb with her partner,
two children and a tailless cat.
